Visa Entry


All site visitors to Antigua and Barbuda have to have an onward or return ticket. Citizens of United States, United Kingdom and Canada residents do not need a visa to get in Antigua and Barbuda and must take a trip on a VALID PASSPORT.

Individuals visiting are allowed to stay as long as their company takes, supplied that:

a) this is no longer than 6 months
b) they have an onward or return ticket
c) they have verification of accommodation
d) they can produce evidence of their ability to keep themselves in Antigua and Barbuda

Persons needing a visa for Antigua and Barbuda:

Cruise liner visitors who would typically require a visa do not need one provided that they show up in Antigua and Barbuda in the morning and leave the exact same night.

In transit guests traveling within the same day, who generally need a visa, do not require a visa for entry into Antigua and Barbuda, provided that they have proof of their onward trip.

Documentation needed when getting a visa:

1. Legitimate key (with minimum life of six months).
2. One completed application type.
3. Confirmation of travel (return or onward ticket or E-ticket).
4. Two (2) passport-size pictures (in color).
5. Charge of $50.00 or $75.00 (see below for details)

Visa costs:

Single Entry $50.00 (for a single see within three months of date of issue)
Multiple Entry $75.00 (for two check outs within six months of date of issue)

Fees should be in postal money order or worldwide cash order made payable to “Government of Antigua and Barbuda” (or cash when providing face to face). Processing duration for the issue of a visa is normally 10 company days. However, candidates who are in possession of a permit, or H-1 visa can pay an extra $20.00 for 2 day share service.
